The Buck is a vehicle that has been cut down to open-up a particular shot or shots. Then it's bolted to the shooting platform that can accommodate a wide variety of equipment and crew, and pulled by the Front Clip. This variation was used in filming The Bourne Supremacy.
Another common use of the S.F.I. Rig is as a high speed shooting platform. Again, the rig can be put together in an almost unlimited number of ways with both equipment and crews safely secured.
